My Visit to Celebration Key – A Relaxing Day at Carnival’s Newest Destination
On December 5th, 2025, we arrived at Celebration Key, Carnival Cruise Line’s brand-new private destination—and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! As soon as we stepped off the ship, we were greeted with bright colors, tropical vibes, and plenty of places to explore. We decided to take a slow walk through the welcome area just to get a feel for the layout and all the options available for the day.

After scoping out a few different spots, we chose to settle at Starfish Lagoon, and it was definitely the right call. This area had such a peaceful atmosphere—perfect for lounging, relaxing, and simply soaking in the scenery. Calm water, comfortable seating, and a chill environment made it our favorite part of the island.

When hunger kicked in, we took a long walk around Celebration Key to see what our lunch options looked like. First, we checked out the food trucks, curious about what they had to offer. Then we wandered over to the Captain’s Galley Food Hall, where the choices included pizza, tacos, burgers, and chicken.
After weighing the options, we went back to the food trucks and chose the Cheesesteak—but unfortunately, this one is a NOT RECOMMENDED from us. It tasted like something that came straight out of a microwave, which was a little disappointing.
One thing we did appreciate: the free water and ice station nearby. All other drinks must be purchased, so having complimentary hydration available was definitely a plus.

With lunch behind us, we spent some time exploring the shops and browsing the souvenirs. Celebration Key offers a cute selection of boutiques and kiosks, great for grabbing keepsakes or gifts.
Next up—Pickleball! Celebration Key has outdoor courts, and we couldn’t resist jumping in for a quick game. It was such a fun addition to the island activities and a great way to burn off a few cruise-vacation calories.
Finally, we took some time to unwind in the hammocks, swinging in the shade and enjoying the breeze. It was the perfect ending to a relaxing afternoon.
All in all, our day at Celebration Key was fun, relaxing, and memorable. From the peaceful vibes at Starfish Lagoon to the unexpected Pickleball match, we enjoyed every moment. While the food truck Cheesesteak wasn’t a win, everything else about the island made up for it.
If you’re sailing to Celebration Key soon, I definitely recommend exploring the whole area, picking your perfect relaxation spot early, and enjoying all the activities this new destination has to offer.
Can’t wait to go back! 🌴✨
